Baptism, Weddings and Funerals
For many people, a visit to St John’s is associated with a ‘pastoral’ service: a baptism, wedding or funeral, where we mark a major moment in the life of someone.
It is important that such occasions are meaningful, appropriate to the moment, and enable each of us to encounter God.
Baptisms and weddings are general planned following initial conversations with the vicar at St John’s. Funerals, however, are generally organised through the initial involvement of a funeral director.
